A story from 2008 …
In the summer of 2008, two guys from different cities decided to create two internet forums for the magical arts. When they discovered the coincidence, they met in person and united their ideas, creating the first Bulgarian online community for magic. This community thrives on live meetings and organizing events.
Hristo Golbez, known as just Golbez or the Bohemian of MagicBar, became passionate about magic at the age of 11. He specializes in Close-Up magic, one of the most difficult styles performed right in front of you. With participation and awards in international and Bulgarian festivals, in 2013 he joined the largest magic club in the world – International Brotherhood of Magicians. He then became a member of the Quick Hands Project, continuously expanding his influence in the magic community.
Deyan Chilov fell in love with magic at the age of 10, when he became fascinated by a disappearing coin trick shown to him by his father. Years later, he studied the artform and spent years in London working in pubs and connected with the Bexley Magic Society and The Magic Circle, where he got the opportunity to meet famous figures from the world of magic and became the first Bulgarian member of the prestigious Magic Circle.
Liverpool-born, Stephen White became interested in magic when he was 12 after watching Paul Daniels on TV. At the age of 20, he went to London, where he honed his skills, making connections with magicians from The Magic Circle and becoming part of the prestigious club.
After Brexit, Deyan returned to Bulgaria and took Steven with him. Their meeting with Hristo gave birth to their joint adventure – the place where passion for magic unites them and their guests in an unforgettable experience – MagicBar!
